Château Haut Bonneau

Château Haut Bonneau sits in Montagne-Saint-Émilion, the northern plateau of Saint-Émilion in Bordeaux's Libournais region. The vineyard works with the classic Right Bank grapes of the appellation: Merlot and Cabernet Franc, varieties that thrive in the clay and limestone soils of this terroir. The Vieilles Vignes Montagne-Saint-Émilion blends Merlot with Cabernet Franc, while L'Eloina David is a pure Cabernet Franc expression. The Château la Croix Bonneau Cuvée Prestige similarly marries the two varieties. Wine Enthusiast and Decanter have rated the portfolio, with the Vieilles Vignes and both secondary offerings earning scores in the 90-point range. Montagne-Saint-Émilion produces wines of structure and depth, built on the region's mineral foundation and the aging potential of its primary grapes.
