Mariell

Mariell produces wines from Burgenland's Weinland region, where continental climate and mineral-rich soils shape distinctive expressions of Austria's native varieties. The Leithaberg Chardonnay Glaggsatz demonstrates the region's capacity for structured white wines, while the Leithaberg Ried Point Blaufränkisch showcases the dark-skinned grape that defines much of eastern Austria's red wine identity. Wetzlasberg, a blend of Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and Cabernet Sauvignon, reflects the region's embrace of both indigenous and international varieties. Falstaff has assessed the winery's portfolio, recognizing these wines within the broader context of Burgenland's quality production.
