Quinta Alta produces wines from the Douro, Portugal's premier red wine region in the north. The winery focuses on indigenous varieties—Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz—that thrive in the region's steep terraced vineyards and continental climate. The Qalt Reserva Tinto, made from Touriga Nacional, represents the winery's core expression, while the unoaked Qalt Unoaked Tinto offers a fresher take on the same noble grapes. Zuccaro, also built on Touriga Nacional, rounds out the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast, reflecting their place within Portugal's serious red wine conversation.
