Château Moutte Blanc sits in Margaux, the southernmost commune of Médoc, where gravelly soils and a temperate maritime climate shape wines of structure and refinement. The estate produces three principal wines: Marguerite Déjean Haut Médoc, a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend; Margaux, built on Merlot; and Moisin, a Petit Verdot expression. The Marguerite Déjean has drawn attention from Decanter and Wine Advocate, while both the Margaux and Moisin have been assessed by the same critics. Margaux's appellation demands finesse—wines here tend toward elegance and balance rather than power. Petit Verdot, the backbone of Moisin, brings structure and dark fruit character to the portfolio. The three wines reflect the diversity of Médoc's left-bank terroir and the range of grapes suited to its conditions.
