Château Sénéjac sits in Haut-Médoc, the heart of Bordeaux's Left Bank, where gravelly soils and the Gironde estuary shape wines of structure and depth. The estate produces three principal bottlings, each a blend of the classic Médoc varieties. Petit Sénéjac, the flagship, marries Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc into a wine that has drawn consistent attention from Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate. The main Haut-Médoc release adds Petit Verdot to the blend, introducing additional tannin and aging potential. Artigues de Sénéjac, a secondary offering, rounds out the portfolio with its own balance of power and finesse. These are wines built on the traditional Haut-Médoc model: Cabernet-forward where the vintage allows, supported by Merlot's roundness and the structural complexity that Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc contribute.
