Scilio

Scilio produces wines from Terre Siciliane in Southern Italy, drawing on the volcanic terroirs of Mount Etna. The winery's portfolio centers on indigenous Sicilian varieties: Carricante for white wines and Nerello Mascalese for reds. Valle Galfina Etna Bianco, made from Carricante, represents the winery's work with the region's mineral-driven whites. Orphéus Etna Rosso, crafted from Nerello Mascalese, showcases the elegant, structured character typical of Etna's red wines. A second Carricante expression, 1815 Etna Bianco, rounds out the core range. These wines have been assessed by major critics including Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate, reflecting the winery's engagement with international wine evaluation. Etna's volcanic soils and high-altitude vineyards impart distinctive mineral and aromatic qualities to both the white and red offerings.
