Weingut Diehl operates in Württemberg, Germany's largest wine region by volume and a landscape defined by steep vineyard slopes and continental climate. The winery focuses on dry wines across three principal varieties. Grauburgunder—the Pinot Gris of German viticulture—yields a mineral, structured expression here. Weissburgunder, or Pinot Blanc, brings delicate stone fruit and crisp acidity. Lemberger, the regional dark horse, offers spice and dark berry character in a dry format. All three are vinified trocken (bone-dry), a style that has gained prominence in Württemberg as producers move away from the region's historical sweetness. Falstaff has rated the portfolio, with the Grauburgunder Trocken reaching 89 points.
