Alta Pavina

Alta Pavina operates in Castilla y León, Spain's sprawling interior plateau, where continental climate and high elevation shape wines of precision and structure. The winery works primarily with Pinot Noir and Tempranillo—a pairing that bridges cool-climate elegance with the dark-fruit intensity of Spain's signature red. Citius Pinot Noir, the flagship, expresses the grape's silken tannins and aromatic complexity. Pago la Pavina blends Tempranillo with Cabernet Sauvignon, marrying regional tradition with international structure. A third expression, Pinot Noir–Tempranillo, explores the dialogue between these two varieties. Wines from Alta Pavina have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Falstaff, and Wine Spectator.
