Gil Luna

Gil Luna works with the dark-skinned varieties native to Castilla y León, Spain's vast continental plateau. The winery's portfolio centers on Tinta de Toro and Garnacha—grapes that thrive in the region's extreme temperature swings and produce wines of depth and structure. Lunas Nuevas, a blend of these two varieties, represents the winery's core expression. Tres Lunas Tinto, built on Tempranillo, and Sin Complejos, also Tempranillo-based, round out the range. All three have drawn assessment from Falstaff, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator. The wines reflect the character of their terroir: high-altitude vineyards where continental climate and old vines yield concentrated fruit and mineral tension.
