La Serena produces Sangiovese-based wines from Montalcino in Tuscany's heart. The winery's portfolio centers on the region's defining expression: Brunello di Montalcino, a wine of structure and aging potential built from Sangiovese grown in the area's distinctive terroir. The standard Brunello di Montalcino and the Gemini Brunello di Montalcino Riserva represent the upper reaches of the range, with the Riserva showing the concentration and complexity that extended aging in oak can bring. A Rosso di Montalcino rounds out the core offerings—a younger, more approachable interpretation of the same grape and place.
