Lombardo produces wines from Montepulciano in southern Toscana, a region celebrated for its mineral-driven reds and distinctive fortified whites. The winery's Poggio Saragio Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, made from Prugnolo Gentile, exemplifies the area's signature character—structured and age-worthy. Alongside this traditional expression, Lombardo crafts Vin Santo di Montepulciano, a fortified wine built from Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Pulcinculo grapes, which carries the region's heritage of sweet, oxidative winemaking. The winery also produces Confino, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Prugnolo Gentile that bridges international and local grape traditions.
