Marcel Servin produces Chardonnay from Chablis, the northernmost region of Bourgogne. The winery's portfolio spans the appellation's hierarchy: Les Beaumonts Chablis offers the fresh, mineral-driven character typical of unoaked Chardonnay from this cool climate; Chablis 1er Cru 'Vaucoupin' adds complexity and structure from its premier cru terroir; and Chablis Grand Cru 'Les Clos' represents the apex, where extended aging potential and concentration emerge from the region's finest vineyard sites. Wine Spectator has rated these expressions, with 'Vaucoupin' and 'Les Clos' both achieving scores in the low 90s. Chablis Chardonnay is defined by high acidity, citrus and stone fruit notes, and a distinctive flinty minerality shaped by the region's Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Marcel Servin's wines reflect this terroir-driven identity across multiple quality tiers.
