Nicosia produces wines from Terre Siciliane in Southern Italy, drawing on the region's volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate. The winery's portfolio centers on Nerello Mascalese, the indigenous red grape that defines Sicily's most serious expressions. The Contrada Monte Gorna Riserva Vecchie Viti Rosso, a blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from old vines, and the Contrada Monte San Nicolò Rosso, a single-varietal Nerello Mascalese, both demonstrate the grape's capacity for structure and complexity. Nicosia also works with Nerello Mascalese in sparkling form—the Sosta Tre Santi Metodo Classico Brut shows the variety's mineral character and acidity in a traditional bottle-fermented style.
