Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet work in Chablis, the northernmost expression of Burgundy's Chardonnay tradition. The limestone-rich terroir yields wines of mineral precision and restraint. Their Chablis 1er Cru 'Beauroy' demonstrates the complexity that elevation and soil composition bring to the appellation's premier sites, built entirely from Chardonnay. The entry-level Chablis shows the same varietal character at a more accessible level. Beyond the classic whites, the winery also produces Pinot Noir from Côte de Grisey in Bourgogne Epineuil, a neighboring region where the grape finds cooler-climate expression. Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter have all assessed the portfolio.
