Good to know

Is it worth going out of your way for?: It serves a specific purpose: a reliable, tucked-away canteen for those in the western CBD seeking consistent Italian comfort food.
Who is it for?: Office workers, colleagues, or friends seeking a consistent, unfussy meal of solid pasta and ragu in a low-key, comfortable setting.
What should you order?: Focus on the pasta-focused signatures: the casarecce with prawn and pistachio pesto, spaghetti puttanesca, or the oxtail ragu.
How do you get a table?: Book via ResDiary. As a rear-lane venue, it's not reliant on walk-ins, so reservations are advised.
Anything to know before you go?: It's closed on weekends. The address is tucked behind a main street, so check the exact location. Expect a functional, communal room.
