Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

If you are in the Salzburg region and value a meal directly connected to local farms and lakes, yes. It’s a deliberate choice for ingredient provenance over urban convenience.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Diners who want a relaxed, unforced evening centered on regional produce—ideal for a date night or casual dinner with friends who appreciate seasonal sourcing.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Start with the signatures: Ossobuco alla Milanese, Burrata Prima Vera, or Zuppa di Pesce Colatura. Then ask about nightly specials or what’s just arrived from nearby producers.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly with the restaurant.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It’s closed on Mondays and Sundays. The kitchen’s argument is its connection to the Flachgau’s agriculture, so expect the menu to shift with what’s in season locally.
