Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

It's a strong neighbourhood choice for ingredient-led cooking, especially in spring and summer when the nearby Naschmarkt's seasonal produce is at its peak. It serves as a reliable option for a quiet, quality meal.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for locals and visitors seeking a calm, residential setting for a date night or relaxed dinner. The clientele values provenance and technique, preferring a regular spot where the menu changes with the market.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

The menu changes with market availability. Prioritise dishes built around peak-season ingredients like spring white asparagus or morels, and ask the staff about daily specials that reflect recent arrivals from local suppliers.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly with the restaurant. It's in a residential area, so reservations are advised, especially for weekend evenings.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It's closed on Sundays. The restaurant is in a quiet part of Mariahilf, away from the main tourist corridors. The cooking is ingredient-focused and European in technique, with a modern, velvety green interior.
