Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want an authentic, less-touristy Dalmatian seafood experience with a direct marina setting. It’s a destination for the combination of modern coastal cooking and a working waterfront atmosphere, not just for elaborate technique.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It’s ideal for date nights, small celebrations, or anyone seeking a relaxed waterfront meal with a local feel. It suits diners who value fresh, simply prepared seafood and a quiet marina backdrop over a bustling city-center scene.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the sea. Ask for the catch of the day and follow recommendations based on what arrived that morning. Signature dishes include the black cuttlefish risotto and the octopus peka, both reflecting classic Dalmatian technique.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly with the restaurant. Given its marina-side location and Michelin Guide listing, reservations are recommended, especially for dinner and during the summer season.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The setting is the draw—arrive by the waterfront promenade for views of moored boats and the open bay. The kitchen’s strength is its proximity to supply, so be prepared for a menu that highlights the day’s best offerings.
