Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you value historic architecture, curated design, and privacy over resort-scale amenities. The palace setting and six unique suites make it a distinct proposition on the Dalmatian coast.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Couples and travelers seeking a quiet, intimate stay focused on history and place. It's for those who prefer walking exploration and a highly specific room experience over a large hotel's facilities.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

This is a hotel, not a restaurant. The focus is on choosing your suite intentionally, as each has a distinct theme. Dining is at the on-site Michelin-starred LD Restaurant.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book your suite well in advance directly with the hotel. Given the limited number of rooms, planning ahead is essential, especially for peak seasons.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

Arrival is on foot inside the old town walls—plan for luggage. Treat it as an architectural experience. The hotel is a Relais & Châteaux member and includes a spa and private boat access.
