Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for its preserved 1931 Art Deco architecture and the classic Riviera day-life atmosphere around its secluded pool and terrace. It's a design-conscious stay for those who value architectural character over a large spa or multiple restaurants.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Travelers who prioritize architecture and a relaxed, outdoor-focused Riviera rhythm of poolside lounging and leisurely terrace lunches. It suits guests looking for measured elegance and a site-driven experience rather than high-octane nightlife.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Prioritize dining on the white marble terrace to experience the hotel's signature collapse of the boundary between restaurant and garden. The format favors long lunches and early dinners when the poolside atmosphere is most lively.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book in advance, especially for a terrace table. The restaurant, PASEO by Juana, is a focal point of the hotel's daytime offer and hosts a Sunday brunch and Friday DJ sets.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The experience is strongest during the day. The hotel is an independent, architecturally distinctive property with 40 rooms; it operates more on character and location than on the breadth of facilities found at larger palace hotels.
