Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

It's a destination for tasting the specific terroir of the Isère valley, not for chasing awards. The appeal is its ingredient-led, regional cooking in a historic house with commanding mountain views.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

For diners who prize geographic specificity and ingredient provenance over urban trends. It attracts visitors interested in tasting a region through its walnuts, cheeses, and freshwater fish, served in a cozy, traditional setting.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the valley's specialties. Ask about seasonal dishes showcasing Grenoble walnuts, Saint-Marcellin or Saint-Félicien cheeses, and local freshwater fish. Let the day's deliveries and provenance guide your choices.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are essential. The restaurant provides an online booking link, which is the most direct method to secure a table.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It's closed on Mondays and Sundays. The restaurant is in a working rural lane, not a resort strip, so the experience is about the food and the view, not the surrounding scene.
