Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you are exploring the Breton coast and want a focused, product-led seafood experience in a quiet village setting. Its value is in its direct access to exceptional local shellfish and finfish.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for diners who prioritize the provenance of ingredients over elaborate technique, seeking a relaxed evening centered on Atlantic seafood in a local, non-touristy atmosphere.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Follow the coastline. Prioritize oysters and shellfish from the Vilaine estuary and nearby beds, and look for dishes that highlight the region's salinity and freshness, like land-sea combinations.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

It is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, with a closure Monday and Tuesday. Reservations are advised, especially during summer months.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The restaurant's ethos is 'cuisine vrai'—cooking true. Expect disciplined simplicity that respects the raw material, not high-concept reinvention. The setting is a village centre, not a waterfront destination.
