Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want a credible, ingredient-led village bistro experience. It's a Michelin Guide-listed Bib Gourmand spot, recognized for its seasonal sourcing and honest, confident cooking in a relaxed Southern Rhône setting.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Diners seeking straightforward, produce-forward French cooking without the formality of a tasting menu. It suits locals and visitors who appreciate a short, rotating menu driven by what's fresh from the region.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Order from the short seasonal menu. Look for dishes that highlight local Gard produce, like the brousse cheese with green pea gazpacho or the tuna with fennel and smoked paprika yoghurt.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Check the opening hours—it's closed Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday evenings. Reservations are likely needed, especially for the terrace in warm weather.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The menu is intentionally brief and changes with the season. Embrace the available dishes rather than looking for a fixed signature. The terrace under the plane tree is the prime spot in warmer months.
