Good to know

Is it worth going out of your way for?: It’s a strong neighbourhood choice for reliable, ingredient-led Italian comfort food and a serious wine list. If you’re in the northern suburbs or value a deli-restaurant hybrid where sourcing is transparent, it’s worth the trip from central Athens.
Who is it for?: It’s for locals and visitors seeking unfussy, satisfying Italian cooking in a relaxed setting. The format appeals to diners who appreciate a direct link between the deli shelves and the plate, and to groups looking for shared plates of charcuterie and pasta.
What should you order?: Focus on the staples that reflect the deli’s larder: preserved and cured products, slow-cooked dishes, and classic pasta preparations. The menu is built for reliability, so charcuterie, conserves, and house pasta dishes are safe, rewarding bets.
How do you get a table?: Reservations are recommended by phone. The restaurant is located at Davaki 1 in Psychiko.
Anything to know before you go?: It operates as both a restaurant and a delicatessen, with long daily hours. The atmosphere is a casual, open-air garden setting. Expect a neighbourhood crowd and a menu that favours steady execution over trend-chasing.
