Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

If you want to experience a serious kitchen built around a single, traditional Irish preparation, yes. It’s a clear argument for indigenous technique in a city with many internationally styled rooms.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Diners interested in vernacular Irish cooking, comfortable family meals, and anyone looking for a relaxed, food-focused dinner in Temple Bar without the formal fuss.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Make boxty the centerpiece. Start with the signature Boxty pancakes or the Gaelic Boxty, and pair it with the classic Irish stew to understand the kitchen’s hearty, traditional style.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book via OpenTable. It’s in a busy tourist area, so reservations are advised.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It’s a warm, buzzing room with an approachable vibe. Come for the food, not the quiet—it’s about comfort and technique, not a hushed, fine-dining experience.
