Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if your priority is a serious, award-winning wine list in a relaxed setting. Its three Star Wine List awards signal consistent quality and depth, making it a destination for wine-focused evenings.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Anyone planning a wine-led evening—dates, post-work drinks, or a relaxed outing where exploring a curated list is the goal. It suits those who want depth and range without a formal tasting menu.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Lean on the wine programme. Browse the list for regional depth, order by the glass, and ask staff for guidance. The food is small plates designed to pair.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Walk-ins are likely possible, especially earlier in the evening, but booking ahead is advised for weekend evenings given its intimate size and reputation.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It's closed Monday and Sunday. The setting is a cozy Georgian townhouse, best for evening visits when the neighbourhood shifts from business to hospitality.
