Good to know

Is it worth going out of your way for?: Yes, if you want a Michelin-recognised Tuscan meal without the cost of a starred restaurant. Its Plate designation signals food worth seeking out, and its €€ price point is a utility in a region where fine dining often prices higher.
Who is it for?: Travelers and locals seeking a composed, regional dinner experience. It suits date nights, special occasions, or business dinners where classic food quality matters more than formal innovation, especially for those with time to linger over multiple courses.
What should you order?: Stick to the signature Tuscan dishes: the pici with guanciale and pecorino pasta, the Fiorentina steak, or the dry-marinated Orbetello sea bass. The kitchen executes these traditional preparations with consistency.
How do you get a table?: Book in advance, especially to secure a spot on the panoramic terrace during the warmer months from late spring through October. Early season booking avoids the August tourist compression.
Anything to know before you go?: The meal follows a deliberate Tuscan rhythm—antipasto, primo, secondo—so plan for an unhurried pace. The terrace view is a key part of the experience, so time your visit for fine weather.
