Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you want modern Italian cooking in a quieter, neighborhood setting away from the centro storico. It's a deliberate destination, not an accidental find.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

For locals and visitors seeking a serious but casual meal, without the ceremony or price of a starred restaurant. It suits date nights or quieter celebrations.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Follow the kitchen's modern Italian leads: the carbonara with truffle, tagliolini with duck ragù, and Loch Fyne salmon are signature dishes.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly with the restaurant. Its location on the Janiculum hill means it draws a purposeful crowd, so reservations are advised.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The restaurant encourages sharing small tasting portions of each dish. Approach from the Trastevere side and be prepared for the climb up the hill.
