Address: Via Santa Maria dei Greci, 98039, Taormina, Italia, Taormina, italy

Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for its specific combination of Michelin-recognized contemporary Sicilian cooking and the unique, romantic setting of a 15th-century palazzo terrace. It offers a refined but accessible alternative to Taormina's starred fine-dining rooms.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Diners seeking modern Sicilian cuisine without the full formality or expense of a starred tasting menu. It suits intimate dinners, date nights, and travelers who value a historic, atmospheric setting alongside reliably good food.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on seasonal plates that showcase Sicily's layered ingredient traditions, which here means dishes playing with sweet-and-sour contrasts and local staples like saffron, raisins, and fresh ricotta.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are available via TheFork. For the full experience, request a table on the summer terrace when booking, especially during the warmer months.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The terrace is the main draw in summer, turning the medieval courtyard into an al fresco dining room. The restaurant's 'easy gourmet' ethos means a more relaxed service style than at the town's starred establishments.
