Good to know

Is it worth going out of your way for?: Yes, if you're seeking a vibrant, modern take on Portuguese tasca classics and can secure a booking. It's a destination for its energetic atmosphere and reimagined comfort food.
Who is it for?: It's for groups and adventurous diners looking for a lively, informal meal centered on clever riffs on traditional Portuguese dishes, not a quiet or formal fine-dining experience.
What should you order?: Focus on the reimagined classics: the arroz de pato, bacalhau à Brás, or polvo à lagareiro. Don't skip the croquetes de borrego or the baba de camelo for dessert.
How do you get a table?: Book well in advance. Walk-ins are highly unlikely at this hard-to-book spot.
Anything to know before you go?: It's only open from Wednesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. Expect a cozy, rustic, and bustling room.
