Yes, for its specific design point of view. It’s a boutique hotel that commits fully to a contemporary, Moooi-furnished interior within a historic Beaux Arts shell, offering a coherent and curated experience distinct from Lisbon's more nostalgic properties.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Couples and design-minded travelers who prioritize a curated aesthetic and a central Baixa location over extensive resort-style amenities. It suits romantic getaways or short city breaks where the hotel's style is part of the appeal.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

At the in-house restaurant Áurea, expect inventive riffs on Portuguese classics. The menu is designed to be both a reliable dinner for hotel guests and a distinctive offering for Lisbon's dining public.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

For the hotel, book well in advance, especially for weekends, due to its limited 53-room inventory. For the restaurant, reservations are recommended.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The hotel's identity is built on its bold, contemporary design within a historic shell. Expect a sharp, curated aesthetic rather than worn-in warmth. Its strength is its central Baixa-Chiado location for exploring Lisbon on foot.
