Good to know

Is it worth going out of your way for?: Yes, if you want thoughtful, ingredient-led cooking in an unpretentious countryside setting. It's a serious restaurant in Landgasthof form, recognised by Michelin and Star Wine List, not a typical village inn.
Who is it for?: Regional food lovers seeking a genuinely local meal rather than a tourist event, and diners who appreciate a relaxed, community-minded atmosphere for family outings or dinners with friends.
What should you order?: Follow the kitchen’s seasonal offerings. Prioritise dishes described as local or seasonal, and ask staff what’s coming from nearby farmers, butchers and foragers.
How do you get a table?: Book directly with the restaurant.
Anything to know before you go?: It's a historic inn from 1646 with a rustic, welcoming atmosphere. The menu changes with the availability of local supply.
