Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for its specific combination of a Michelin Plate-listed Japanese robatayaki kitchen and a prime Bosphorus-view location on the Galataport promenade, at a price point below fine dining.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Diners seeking a social, waterfront meal built around shared plates of grilled specialties and sushi, with confident execution but without the formality or cost of a starred tasting menu.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the robata grill signatures: the yuzu miso-marinated black cod and the Korean-spiced lamb cutlets. Start with the yellowtail sashimi and include the prawn tempura to sample the menu's range.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly with the restaurant.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The experience is geared toward evening, with the Bosphorus view coming into its own at dusk. The menu is designed for sharing, so plan to order multiple plates for the table.
