Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you're in Kyiv and seeking a composed, modern take on Chinese cuisine with a serious wine program. It's a destination for a planned dinner, not a casual drop-in.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for business dinners, special occasions, and anyone interested in how a considered wine list can be paired with modern Chinese cooking. The atmosphere is sophisticated and energetic.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the signatures: Peking duck, dim sum, crispy duck spring rolls, wontons, and shu mai. Engage the service team on wine pairings, particularly for dishes with fermented elements or spice.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are recommended. The restaurant caters to a reservation-driven clientele in Kyiv's central business and embassy corridor.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The open kitchen lets you watch the cooking. It operates on a paced, multi-course dining format rather than quick turns. The price point is in the upper tier for Kyiv.
