Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

For the rooftop terrace with panoramic West End views, yes. It's one of the few year-round outdoor dining spaces in central London, making it a practical anchor for social evenings in Soho and Mayfair where atmosphere is a priority.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Groups, date nights, and celebratory dinners seeking a polished but informal setting. It suits those who want the social looseness of sharing plates and cocktails on a terrace, without the commitment of a formal tasting menu.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Approach the menu for sharing. Signature dishes include the Wagyu maki rolls, king crab tempura with crab miso, agedashi aubergine with roasted foie gras, and the chilli yuzu lamb teriyaki.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book via OpenTable. Reservations for the terrace are the real prize and book up well in advance, especially for evenings and weekends.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The interior is a dramatic, Tokyo Ginza-inspired space with a sunken sushi bar, but the terrace is the primary attraction. Expect a modern Japanese menu priced for an upscale casual West End location.
