Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

No. It's a reliable local for its Bloomsbury and Holborn professional crowd, best suited for a working lunch or a convenient, low-key dinner rather than a special trip.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for barristers, academics, and office workers in the area needing a consistent spot for a quick lunch, an after-work meal, or a modest business dinner.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Focus on the Italian pasta signatures: the Pappardelle Beef Ragu, Tagliatelle Burrata, or the richer Truffle Pasta. The Bruschetta is a good starter.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book via OpenTable. Weekday lunches can be busy with the local trade, while evenings are generally easier to secure.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The atmosphere is cosy and rustic. Expect efficient service at lunch and a more relaxed pace at dinner. It's on a busy, functional road, not a picturesque lane.
