Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you prioritize serious craft cocktails. It's considered a benchmark for the direction of Charlotte's cocktail culture and stands apart from the broader bar scene.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

For those who see cocktails as the point of the evening—ideal for date nights, special occasions, or after-work drinks. It rewards neighborhood regulars and visitors who appreciate a focused, knowledgeable bar program over loud nightlife.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Engage the bartender, especially during quieter afternoon hours. Describe a flavor direction or spirit preference and let them guide you, as the program is built for off-menu exploration and classic cocktails with modern twists.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Book directly. For a more guided experience with the bartender's full attention, aim for afternoon or early evening before the dinner rush.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

The pace and energy change significantly between day and night. Cocktails are the primary focus, not food. First-time visitors seeking consultation should come before the evening crowd arrives.
