Name: Zachary's Chicago Pizza
Address: Birch Court, 5834, 94168, Oakland, United States, Oakland, united-states

Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you are specifically seeking Chicago-style stuffed deep-dish pizza. It's a format outlier in the Bay Area that has earned a place on a critic-led cheap eats list for its consistent execution.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

For groups, families, and anyone wanting a substantial, casual meal. It suits budget-conscious diners and those who don't mind a lively, neighborhood pace and a wait on busy evenings.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

The house signatures: the Zachary's Special or the Spinach & Mushroom stuffed deep-dish pizzas.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Walk-in only. Expect a wait, especially on weekend evenings, as the pizzas require a longer bake time.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

Plan for time. The stuffed pizza format means a slower, sit-down meal, not quick service. It's a casual, employee-owned operation in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood.
