Achard-Vincent operates in the Rhône Valley, where the continental climate and limestone-rich soils of the region support the production of sparkling wines. The winery focuses on Crémant de Die, a traditional méthode ancestrale sparkling wine made from Muscat Blanc, Aligoté, and Clairette—varieties that thrive in the Drôme department's distinctive terroir. The Crémant de Die Brut and P'tit Jules both draw from this same blend, with the former earning recognition from Decanter and Wine Spectator. These wines reflect the aromatic character typical of Muscat-forward blends, where floral and stone-fruit notes emerge alongside the acidity and minerality that the region's geology imparts. The méthode ancestrale process, which leaves residual sugar and captures natural carbonation, distinguishes Crémant de Die from other sparkling categories and creates wines with a lighter touch and delicate effervescence.
