Alana Tokaj

Alana Tokaj produces wines from Hungary's Tokaj region, where botrytis-affected grapes yield some of the world's most distinctive sweet wines. The winery's Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos, made from Furmint, demonstrates the region's signature balance of richness and acidity. Its Tokaji Aszúeszencia—a blend of Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Muscat Blanc—represents the apex of Tokaj's concentration and complexity. A Muscat Blanc expression, Betsek, rounds out the portfolio with the aromatic character that Muscat brings to the region's botrytized wines. Wine Spectator has rated these releases, reflecting their place within Tokaj's tradition of noble rot winemaking.
