Albino Armani works the volcanic soils of Verona, in the heart of Veneto's classical wine country. The winery focuses on two distinct expressions of the region's terroir: the structured, dried-grape Amarones that define the Valpolicella Classico zone, and the lightly sparkling Prosecco Colfondo, a traditional bottle-fermented style. The Cuslanus Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva, built from Corvinone, Rondinella, and Corvina, represents the winery's commitment to the appassimento method—the careful drying of grapes that concentrates tannins and alcohol into wines of depth and aging potential. The standard Amarone della Valpolicella Classico follows the same varietal blend with comparable structure. In contrast, the Prosecco Colfondo, made from Glera, retains the freshness and subtle carbonation of the ancestral method, offering a textural alternative to industrial Prosecco. Wines from Albino Armani have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
