Alysses produces wines from Provence, the sun-drenched region of southeastern France known for its distinctive rosés and structured reds. The winery's Coteaux Varois, a blend of Syrah and Grenache, demonstrates the region's capacity for depth and complexity in red wine. This wine, along with the Cuvée Prestige Coteaux Varois En Provence, has been assessed by Wine Advocate. The Coteaux Varois in particular shows the character typical of its appellation—the Syrah bringing structure and spice, the Grenache contributing roundness and fruit-forward appeal.
