Antico Colle produces Sangiovese-based wines from Montepulciano in Tuscany's central hills. The winery's core range spans three expressions of the region's signature varietal: Rosso di Montepulciano, a lighter, earlier-drinking iteration; Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, the region's structured standard; and Il Saggio Riserva, a reserve-level interpretation built for aging. Sangiovese from this terroir typically shows dark cherry, earth, and mineral tension—qualities that emerge across Antico Colle's lineup. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
