Antonio Caggiano

Antonio Caggiano produces wines from Taurasi, a region in Campania known for its volcanic soils and Aglianico-driven reds of structure and depth. The winery's portfolio centers on two principal varieties: Fiano, a white grape native to southern Italy, and Aglianico, the region's signature red. Béchar Fiano di Avellino expresses the mineral character typical of Fiano from Avellino's terroir. The Aglianico wines—Vigna Macchia dei Goti Taurasi and Salae Domini Irpinia Campi Taurasini—reflect the volcanic character and aging potential for which Taurasi is recognized. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
