Argiolas produces wines from Sardegna, the Mediterranean island region of southern Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on indigenous varieties suited to Sardinia's sun-exposed terrain. Vermentino, a crisp white grape native to the island, forms the backbone of two flagship expressions: Ungrera and Malia, both Vermentino di Sardegna. Ungrera achieves particular distinction among prestige critics. The winery also works with Cannonau, Sardinia's interpretation of Grenache, in Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi—a red wine that reflects the variety's capacity for structure and depth in warm Mediterranean conditions. Wines from Argiolas have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
