Artisan Wines

Artisan Wines operates in Neusiedlersee, the warm continental region of Burgenland where autumn mists and shallow lake waters create ideal conditions for late-harvest wines. The winery's Reserve Welschriesling Beerenauslese—a botrytized expression of Austria's signature white variety—has earned recognition from Decanter and Falstaff. Alongside this sweet wine sits the Blaufränkisch Alte Reben, sourced from old vines of the dark-skinned grape that defines red wine in eastern Austria, and The Artisan, a Merlot that rounds out the portfolio. Both Decanter and Falstaff have assessed these releases. The combination of Welschriesling's stone-fruit character and natural acidity with Blaufränkisch's peppery structure and earthy depth reflects the region's dual strength in both noble dessert wines and serious reds.
