Βατίστας ( Vatistas )

Vatistas produces wines from Peloponnesos, the ancient southern peninsula of Greece. The winery works with indigenous varieties that define the region's viticultural character. Malagousia, a white grape with mineral precision and aromatic intensity, appears in the winery's flagship bottling of the same name. Petroulianos, another regional variety, forms the basis of a wine that balances structure with the distinctive terroir of Peloponnesos. Kidonitsa rounds out the portfolio, adding further expression of local viticulture. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Wine Enthusiast, reflecting their presence in the broader conversation around Greek wine. Vatistas represents the ongoing revival of Peloponnesian winemaking, where native grapes and regional identity remain central to the work.
