Bera

Bera produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Piemonte in Northern Italy, where the variety reaches its most structured and age-worthy expression. The winery's portfolio centers on two of the region's most prestigious designations: Barolo and Barbaresco. The Serraboella Barbaresco Riserva, made from Nebbiolo, represents the upper range of the winery's output. Alongside it sit a Barolo and the Mosconi Barolo, both crafted from the same noble varietal. Nebbiolo in Piemonte demands specific terroir and extended aging to reveal its characteristic architecture of tannin and acidity, layered with notes of tar, rose, and dried cherry. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate.
