Bersano

Bersano produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Asti in Piemonte, Italy's northwestern region renowned for structured, age-worthy reds. The winery's portfolio centers on Barolo, the region's most prestigious expression of Nebbiolo—a grape that demands cool hillside sites and yields wines of considerable tannin and complexity. Bersano's Barolo Riserva Cannubi and Badarina Barolo Riserva represent extended aging in the cellar, a traditional marker of ambition in the Barolo hierarchy. A straightforward Nebbiolo rounds out the core range, offering a more direct encounter with the variety's characteristic structure and mineral spine. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
