Biondi produces wines from Etna, the volcanic slopes of southeastern Sicily where Nerello varieties thrive in mineral-rich soils. The winery's portfolio centers on indigenous grapes: Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio for red wines, and Carricante for white. M.I. Etna Rosso, a blend of Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese, represents the winery's approach to the region's signature red style—structured and elegant. Cisterna Fuori, similarly composed of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, offers another expression of these volcanic terroirs. Carricante Chianta showcases the white potential of Etna's high-altitude vineyards, where this variety develops aromatic complexity and mineral precision. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Spectator.
